Thanksgiving feast

Maycee's preschool gave them the option of dressing up for their Thanksgiving feast. Maycee wanted to be an indian and kept telling me how beautiful she felt with her long braids.

Caramel apples

Snow canyon half marathon

Tyler decided at the last minute that he wanted to run the half marathon up in snow canyon. He finished with an awesome time and then managed to still go wake boarding later that day and drive back to Vegas in just enough time to get to work that night. I guess he thinks he's superman... I like to call it crazy!

I have debated on if I was brave enough to post a picture pre-brain surgery or not. I decided that it has now been five months and I look a lot better than my "sumo wrestler" face that I had back then, so I will give it a go. (I might regret this later) I couldn't bring myself to post a picture of how big my belly actually got because those pictures still scare me:) and the fact that I still look quite pregnant from my dialysis still to this day, I figured I would spare those of you who are reading. Maybe in a later post.

Let it snow

The morning we left Utah we woke up to big snowflakes falling to the ground. Maycee was so excited to be able to play in it while we packed up the car. It was nice to be in the cold for a minute or two... And even nicer to return to the warmer sunshine.

Trunk r treat

Our ward did a trunk r treat last night and maycee couldn't wait.
You might think that this is the same costume as last year... but to clarify, although it might be the same costume, this year she says that she is the tooth fairy as opposed to last year when she was a fairy princess. She loved the costume so much there was no changing her mind on the repeat.oh we'll, she's the cutest pink tooth fairy I know.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Days farm pumpkin patch while we were up in utah. We had so much fun taking a hay ride out to a huge field of pumpkins and then picking our very own pumpkin right out of the pumpkin patch. It was really windy and cold, but well worth all of the dust in our eyes.

NFL Game

 

Tyler went to his first NFL game this past week with his little brother. They had great seats, good food,  and came home a little sunburned, but said it was well worth it.  He missed the Primary program that Maycee was taking a part of for the first time, but she did a great job anyway and even recited her part to him both before he went and when he got home (and about a hundred times in between)

 

 

 

WICKED!!

Tyler and I went to see the musical Wicked last week. After trying to win tickets 4 different times (with no success) we finally gave in and bought tip top balcony seats. It was WONDERFUL!! unfortunately I only got one picture of us with my phone...guess it will have to do.

First Day of PreSchool!

 

With teary eyes the first day of Preschool has come and gone. Oh ya...and Maycee did great! She absolutely LOVED it!!
