Lake Havisu

We wanted to go somewhere fun for Tyler's Birthday this year but hadn't planned on where we wanted to go. At the last minute we decided that we would try out Lake Havisu. We had heard that it could get a little crazy down there aound Spring Break, and were hoping that we would have missed all of the crazy college spring breakers. Luckily by the time we got there most of them had left and there was just families left enjoying the 85 degree sunshine. We swam in the pool, enjoyed the hot tub, rented a paddle boat, and played on the beach. Good times.

Matching Toenails

Maycee let me paint her toenails for the first time the other day. (There has been other attempts, but the paint has always ended up everywhere else but her toenails.) She was so excited to have painted toenails like Mommy's and sat completely still while I was painting them, and while they dryed. (I don't think that she has ever sat that still for that amount of time) The whole week after she kept taking her shoes off and saying "Pretty" as she pointed at her pink toenails. Girls are so much fun:)
